The Norfolk Lurcher

John, Alison, Robert, Daniel and Penny welcome you to their family run, traditional English pub in the heart of rural Norfolk. Originally an 1810 built barn, the inn was converted in 1992.  Purchased as a freehold public house in 2006 by the current owners, the property now provides the village of Colton with its pub, restaurant and a selection of en suite bedrooms. 

 

Our passion is excellent food and outstanding drink, using locally sourced produce of only the highest quality.  Prepared and presented by top local head chef Chris Knibb and sous chefs Lee Bloomfield and Yvette Keen, we offer an extensive evening menu, supported by our board with more seasonal fare.  We can also provide a separate vegetarian menu as designed by our very own vegetarian chef, and a lunchtime menu which combines lighter bites with a selection of favourite dishes from our evening menu.
